Q. Who will be working on my documents and what are their credentials?
All our consultants have worked at recruitment agencies or as human resource professionals. They have made hiring decisions so they know from personal experience what employers need to see in your resume and cover letter. We assign a resume/cover letter expert who has experience in your particular industry/career field. We only employ those with master's degrees and have at least 10 years experience in human resoources.

There are many keys to our success. To mention a few: 1) Our consultants are each part owners so that means there are no middle men taking a cut. 2) Because our consultants worked in recruitment agencies and in HR and because we cater to a wider audience through affordable pricing we do many resumes and thus become very efficient at what we do. Our writers can instantly spot what needs to be done and so we can do resumes in less time (and at a higher quality!) than the competition. The time savings equals cost savings and we pass that along to you.

Q. How do you accept payment?
It is important for our customers to get their results delivered quickly so we accept payments online. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover Card payment via PayPal an established and widely-used online credit-card payment/processing service.

Q. What if I am unhappy with the results? Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. For 1 month after you receive your results, you may follow up with questions or you may request an additional revision. During this time more detailed explanations of the work done or any additional revisions will be given free of charge. As this is a time consuming service, we cannot offer refund once the work has been done but as mentioned, we will work hard to make further revisions or give further explanations to ensure that you're happy. We feel it is important to get things right the first time, and indeed over the years very few clients have ever asked for any extra revision. Q. How can you charge such low prices?
There are many reasons why we can charge such low prices without sacrificing quality. First off, when you have been in business as long as we have you become very efficient. We don't need to spend hours trying to figure out what is wrong with the resume. Secondly, we don't waste time. We know what information is important and if there is anything missing from what you send us then we will ask for it. We do not spend a hour or more on the phone having you tell us about information that is already there on your resume for example. Thirdly, we do our business over the internet which allows us to keep office expenses to a minimum. Fourthly, we use a fair price as determined by the customer. Other resume service firms set their prices by listening to what various associations tell them is the average price for the resume service industry. But Resume Scorecard isn't interested in being merely 'average' and so we listen to the customer not some obscure bureaucratic associations. Fifth, we only make changes that are needed. If something is already good on your resume then we will not change it. We do not make changes to resumes just to make it look like we are working hard. We never bill you for unnecessary work. Sixth, we aim to service a wider market. Many resume service firms concentrate on executives who have money to spare and can afford extravagant prices. While we help executives too, we also aim to help those who do not have as much cash. Seventh, since we service a wider market we can make revenue through a higher volume of sales. There is no sacrificing quality however. In fact by staying busy our writers stay sharp and have amassed a great deal of experience from writing and editing many resumes. And finally, we simply like to help people. While we are not running this as a not for profit, we are charging less than we can simply because we want everyone to be able to afford a good resume.

Q. What info do you need from me?
Depends on the service but you want to send us as much info as possible usually. We can go through the info you send and decide what is needed and what is not. The more we have to work with the better in order to tailor your work or enhance the content. Typically you should send us your current resume and cover letter and also any older versions you might have. Send us a copy of any job ads you are planning to apply to and a brief note on why you are currently looking for a new job and why you want to work for these particular employers. Send us information on your accomplishments and quantify these where possible.
