Q. How can you charge such low prices?
There are many reasons why we can
charge such low prices without sacrificing quality. First off, when
you have been in business as long as we have you become very
efficient. We don't need to spend hours trying to figure out what is
wrong with the resume. Secondly, we don't waste time. We know what
information is important and if there is anything missing from what
you send us then we will ask for it. We do not spend a hour or more
on the phone having you tell us about information that is already
there on your resume for example. Thirdly, we do our business over
the internet which allows us to keep office expenses to a minimum.
Fourthly, we use a fair price as determined by the customer. Other
resume service firms set their prices by listening to what various
associations tell them is the average price for the resume service
industry. But Resume Scorecard isn't interested in being merely
'average' and so we listen to the customer not some obscure
bureaucratic associations. Fifth, we only make changes that are
needed. If something is already good on your resume then we will not
change it. We do not make changes to resumes just to make it look
like we are working hard. We never bill you for unnecessary work.

extravagant prices. While we help executives too, we also aim to

Q. What info do you need from me?
Depends on the service but you want
to send us as much info as possible usually. We can go through the
info you send and decide what is needed and what is not. The
more we have to work with the better in order to tailor your work or
enhance the content. Typically you should send us your current
resume and cover letter and also any older versions you might have.
Send us a copy of any job ads you are planning to apply to and a
brief note on why you are currently looking for a new job and why
you want to work for these particular employers. Send us information
on your accomplishments and quantify these where possible.
