How To
Type a Resume
Always
use black ink.
Stick
with traditional fonts such as Times New Roman,
Courier, Verdana, or Arial.
Optimal
font size is up to 11 to 14 point for headings
and for the body of the resume 10 to 12 point.
Use
a laser or bubble jet printer. Don't use a
photocopier as the copies can appear a bit faded.
A clear the resume is easier on the reader's
eyes, and more professional looking.
The
paper you use is also important. Always use white
or ivory 20 lb. bond paper, with a matching
envelope. Keep everything clean, crisp and
wrinkle free.
