Often
when people write emails they write in a very
casual and informal style but when emailing the
employer you should write in a professional
manner.
Often
email cover letters are short letters with only a
couple lines of texts that simply say something
long the lines of 'I'm applying for x position,
find my resume attached, thanks very much."
This is a waste of a good opportunity! You really
should take the time to write a full cover letter
every time.
Use
left-justified and four-inch wide text lines. You
don't know how large the viewer's monitor is and
don't want tje e-mail to wrap the text around in
an awkward way. Some the viewer's email will not
displat specail text like bolding, bulleting or
underlining, so play it safe by using capital
letters of dashes when you wish to add emphasis.
