Find a New Job
I've heard that it's easier to find a new job
while you're still employed. Is this true? I am
miserbale at my present job and want to quit but
should I stick it out to find a new position
faster?
Before
downsizing has became a regular part of the
employment cycle, preference was given to those
who were working over those who were not. More
recently though, companies have become less
concerned about your current status provided you
bring the skills they want to the job
opportunity.
Other considerations are that looking gor a job
can be a full time job itself and it will be
difficult to move to a new positions quickly if
you are busy at a job 9 to 5 and can only give
job hunting a part-time effort.
On the other hand job hunting can take time even
while you are seriously looking so you may want
to stay with your employer and earn an income
while you keep an eye out for better
opportunities.
