| Submit Resume Q:
Should I apply for multiple job ads with the same
company?
A: Generally speaking, there is
a risk. In many companies the same recruiter will
be reading both sets of applications, and this
could send the message that you submit your
resume by just blasting out your resume to any
and every job that you see no matter how
appropriate you might be for them.
Have some faith that the HR person screening your
resumé will consider you for the position which
you are best suited for even if it is not the one
you applied for.
The other thing that applying for multiple jobs
does is that it sends a message that you may not
really know what you want. You want the company
to think that you are the perfect person for a
specific job and that you understand your skills
and capabilities.
